Westside Elementary Students experienced their first-ever Career Day on Friday, April 4.  The 525-member student body learned from a total of six volunteer organizations including:

Health Occupation students recognized at state level

Ten Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) students, under the direction of White House Heritage health sciences teacher Amber Presley, attended the Tennessee State competition at Opreyland Hotel and came away with recognition as an, “Outstanding HOSA Chapter.”

RCS students attend SCOPE Congress

Students from Robertson County Schools joined approximately 313 of their high school peers in Murfreesboro on March 10 to express their views on public education in Tennessee at the Tennessee School Boards Association (TSBA) Student Congress on Policies in Education (SCOPE). The event took place on the Middle Tennessee State University Campus.

East Robertson FFA student Wins State honors

East Robertson High School senior Madison Shultz took first place honors in the statewide Extemporaneous Public Speaking Contest at the 86th Tennessee State Future Farmers of America Convention, March 23-26. She will now compete at the national level in October at National FFA Convention in Louisville, Ky.
