Extended Contract Proposal Requirements

The Tennessee General Assembly provides annual funding for extended learning activities through extended contracts for educators.  Extended contracts must be student data-driven and must fall within one of our system's prioritized categories.

Prioritized Categories:

• Remediation in reading and language at all levels.
• Remediation in mathematics at all levels.
• Remediation in social studies and science at all levels.
• Gateway remediation and intervention for math, science and language arts.
• Enrichment in mathematics at all levels.
• Enrichment in science and writing at all levels.
• Test preparation (ACT/other state tests) at the secondary level.

Proposals should be submitted to Terri Simmons, Central Office. Proposal forms are available for download and can be downloaded by clicking on the link provided above. Teachers who have been awarded extended contracts will also need the log and evaluation form.
